Thornton Home Inspections LLC is looking for people with strong communication skills that have the ability to learn and become proficient in the technical aspects of home inspections. Having some background in construction, trades, or a related field is preferred but not required and can be learned through our training program. Home Inspector Job Requirements:
● Inspect two houses/day max, with the ability to customize your unique schedule
● Adhere to THI Policies & Procedures
● Send a high-quality, accurate report to the same day of the inspection
● Upload and store required files and photos as appropriate
● Contact clients by either telephone, email, or in-person prior to and during the inspection
● Return emails and phone calls quickly, both internal and external
● Participate in regularly scheduled team meetings and monthly company meetings
● Become Licensed/Certified within the first month of employment
● Complete 16/hours year of continuing education (32)
● Obtain the required list of tools and equipment not provided by Thornton Home Inspections Inc.
● Own smartphone or a tablet/computer capable of writing reports
● Own a reliable and professional vehicle and maintain a valid driver’s license
Home Inspector Required Skills:
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Knowledge of computers, apps, and dedication to learning inspection software
● Deliver inspection findings in an unbiased and non-alarming manner
● Ability to problem-solve and adapt
● Strong attention to detail with an analytical and systems-oriented mindset
Home Inspector Physical Tasks & Working Conditions:
● Inspectors work in a residential worksite environment; exposure to unpleasant environmental conditions and/or hazards are expected. The majority of the work is performed inside, outside, or with exposure to risk
● Walk roofs of 6/12 pitch or less, enter and crawl through attics and crawlspaces, be able to carry, transport, and use a Mult-Position ladder as well as lift, stand, or squat for 8 plus hours a day if needed
Home Inspector Experience:
● Previous Home Inspection schooling, training, or Licensed/certification preferred
● Construction/trade or related field experience preferred

Growth Representatives Job Requirements:
● Daily outbound calls and follow up are expected.
● Strong ability to network, ask for referrals and build excellent relationships quickly.
● Must possess excellent communication, and negotiation skills.
● Travel via automobile will be required as monthly and annual quota must be maintained.
● Strong ability to close all facets of the sales process.
●Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Face-to-face distribution of THI Marketing Materials to Real Estate Professionals in assigned territory.

Job Overview:
As a Growth & Development Representative, you will build relationships with real estate professionals in your target market area. You will be responsible for selling the benefits of hiring an inspector with THI via small and large group presentations, social events, and one-to-one business discussions. You will use the latest technology and social media methods to build your professional brand.
You’ll leverage your sales and closing skills to strengthen relationships and build customer loyalty year over year by creating partnerships that sustain the real estate market’s ebbs and flows. You’ll establish yourself as a valued member of the real estate market in your assigned territory. Purposeful prospecting with calls and personal meetings will drive the business growth most effectively.
Job Requirements:
● Minimum of 2 years of successful direct sales experience as a top producer in previous/current position.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Excellent phone skills for outbound calls and continued to follow up.
● Computer proficiency including but not limited to Microsoft Office 365.
● Social Media awareness.
● Background in advertising/staffing, pharmaceutical, medical, escrow/title, warranty, or other real estate-related industry sales.
